An independent Pointe-Saint-Charles microbrewery founded in 2018, with a taproom on rue Saint-Patrick and Origine Brass, a restaurant-brewery in Dorval. Nine active beers include Montréal State of Mind (7.5% NEIPA), Instant de Lucidité (7% DDH IPA), Botanik witbier, a Czech lager and Gose Down Easy, sold in 473 ml cans at the bottleshop and in Montreal-area dépanneurs.
4 Origines's canned beer (HTS 2203.00.00, "Beer made from malt") can no longer ship to the US: the US import ban on listed Canadian alcohol took effect September 29, 2026, after a 50% Section 338 duty from August 22, 2026. We found no public statement from the brewery about US sales.Source: whitehouse.gov, Sep 8, 2026
You must be of legal drinking age in your province to buy alcohol. Rules on shipping alcohol between provinces vary, so buy from the maker directly or through your provincial liquor store. We only link to makers; nothing is sold on this site.
