Look for where the particular product is made, rather than relying on the company’s address, ownership or the imagery on its packaging. Our maker profiles link to production sources and distinguish the maker’s own products from resale where that matters.
These guides are selections, not complete lists or product certifications. We give small makers particular attention and include larger, focused companies too. Where headcount is available, the guides separate makers with fewer than 10 employees from companies with 10 or more; unknown size stays explicit.
Some makers are navigating tariffs. We link any account of their impact to the maker’s own notice or a reporting source, rather than assuming every Canadian business is affected in the same way. Read how we list makers or explore the tariff background.
