Avant-Garde is a Hochelaga brewery and pizza taproom focused on European styles and oak-barrel ageing, with beers such as the whisky-barrel quadrupel Quwhat?!, the India pale lager Jésus Crisp, the Dortmunder Ein Masse and the Irish stout Belfass; the same founders make the Jukebox beers, sold in cans and bottles.
Avant-Garde's packaged beer (HTS 2203.00.00, "Beer made from malt") can no longer ship to the US: the US import ban on listed Canadian alcohol took effect September 29, 2026, after a 50% Section 338 duty that applied from August 22, 2026.
