Raw and liquid honey has carried a 50% US duty under HTS 0409.00.00 since August 22, 2026. Four days before the duty landed, BCB's founder Iman Tabari told Global News that the levy would force Canadian beekeepers to cut their prices to keep moving honey south and that many would not survive it. The farm's home page now runs a post headed "50% Us tariffs impacting honey industry".
