Sidney's first brewery, a small-batch family brewery and tasting room on the site of the town's old fire hall. Mainstays include Ladder Truck Lager, Capacitor Cold IPA, Disconnect Dark Mild and Power Surge Pale Ale, plus rotating sour, hoppy, lager and seasonal taps, poured in the tasting room and filled into growlers and cans to go.
Beacon's packaged beer (HTS 2203.00.00, "Beer made from malt") can no longer ship to the US: the US import ban on listed Canadian alcohol took effect September 29, 2026, after a 50% Section 338 duty that applied from August 22, 2026. Beacon describes itself as a non-distribution brewery that sells from its own tasting room, and we found no sign of US sales.Source: whitehouse.gov, Sep 8, 2026
