Beau's has brewed Lug Tread, a Kölsch-style "lagered ale" at 5.2%, since 2006, and today sells it in cans alongside Beau's Lite, Barn Burner, Juiced AF and Wonder Crush through the LCBO, The Beer Store, grocery stores and its Vankleek Hill taproom.
Beau's packaged beer (HTS 2203.00.00, "Beer made from malt") can no longer ship to the US: the US import ban on listed Canadian alcohol took effect September 29, 2026, after a 50% Section 338 duty from August 22, 2026. Beau's first went to New York State in 2014, but its owner Steam Whistle says in its supply-chain report covering Steam Whistle and Beau's: "Our goods are not exported outside of Canada."Source: cdn.shopify.com, Sep 29, 2026
You must be of legal drinking age in your province to buy alcohol. Rules on shipping alcohol between provinces vary, so buy from the maker directly or through your provincial liquor store. We only link to makers; nothing is sold on this site.
Made in Canada
Beau's was founded in Vankleek Hill, Ontario ("10 Terry Fox Dr. Vankleek Hill, Ontario, Canada K0B 1R0"), where the taproom remains open. Since the 2022 merger, owner Steam Whistle reports that "The majority of our beer production is manufactured at our production facility located in Toronto, ON", and a 2025 review notes that "this Lug-Tread is brewed at the Steam Whistle facility in Etobicoke."
