An organic farm brewery with its own hopyard above the Bras d'Or Lake, canning 473 ml beers such as Kitchen Party Organic Pale Ale, Tim's Organic IPA, Cereal Killer Organic Oatmeal Stout, Death Cookies Northeast IPA and The Inhaled Affirmative pilsner, plus 650 ml bottles of barrel-aged and bottle-conditioned specialties like Ra Ra Rasputin, aged in Glenora whisky barrels.
Big Spruce's packaged beer (HTS 2203.00.00, "Beer made from malt") can no longer ship to the US: the US import ban on listed Canadian alcohol took effect September 29, 2026, after a 50% Section 338 duty that applied from August 22, 2026. Brewed on the farm in Cape Breton at "64 Yankee Line Road, Baddeck, Cape Breton Island Nova Scotia". The owners bought "over 100 acres of pristine Cape Breton farmland" facing the Bras d'Or Lake, where "a hopyard was planted", and "All of our ales and lagers are brewed with organic grain & hops".
