Bottlescrew Bill's, a downtown Calgary beer bar since 1980, now brews its own BSB beers on site: Check Pilsner, a Cream Ale, Belgium Blonde, Skijor Alberta Amber Lager, Margarita Gose, an English Pale Ale, Paradise Pale Ale and a Nitro Stout, poured at the pub with cans to take home.
Bottlescrew Bill's canned BSB beer (HTS 2203.00.00, "Beer made from malt") can no longer ship to the US: the US import ban on listed Canadian alcohol took effect September 29, 2026, after a 50% Section 338 duty that applied from August 22, 2026. We found no public record of Bottlescrew Bill's selling its beer in the US.Source: whitehouse.gov, Sep 8, 2026
You must be of legal drinking age in your province to buy alcohol. Rules on shipping alcohol between provinces vary, so buy from the maker directly or through your provincial liquor store. We only link to makers; nothing is sold on this site.
Made in Canada
The beer is brewed in the pub itself at "140 10 Ave SW, Calgary, AB, Canada", where the old restaurant became the brewhouse: "Buzzards RestAURANT is now Our BREWERY SPACE." The pub now has "13 beers ON tap brewed right here for your enjoyment."
