Burdock has made fresh beer in downtown Toronto since 2015, mostly lagers and pale ales such as Deluxe helles lager, Ducks New England IPA, Bears West Coast pale ale, The Last Waltz gold lager and Tuesday can-conditioned saison, plus Grape Ales that blend wine and brewing techniques with Niagara grapes, in 473 mL cans.
Burdock Brewery's packaged beer (HTS 2203.00.00, "Beer made from malt") can no longer ship to the US: the US import ban on listed Canadian alcohol took effect September 29, 2026, after a 50% Section 338 duty from August 22, 2026. Burdock's wholesale site says "We proudly export our beer across Canada and around the globe", but we have not found a source naming the US as a market.Source: whitehouse.gov, Sep 8, 2026
You must be of legal drinking age in your province to buy alcohol. Rules on shipping alcohol between provinces vary, so buy from the maker directly or through your provincial liquor store. We only link to makers; nothing is sold on this site.
Made in Canada
Brewed in Toronto: "Our brewery on Denison Square produces most of the beer we distribute across Ontario", and the original Bloor St. brewery at "1184 Bloor St. West" is where "it all began back in 2015".
