Made in Canada

Burning Kiln turned the "same sandy loam soil that once grew premium tobacco into thriving vineyards" at St. Williams, Ontario, and makes its wine on site, with tours running "from the vineyards to the kilns and production room".

On the tariff list

  • HTS 2204.10.00 · Sparkling grape wine · 50% since Aug 22, 2026

Its Sparks is listed as "Sparks Sparkling" on the Savour menu, a sparkling grape wine.

  • HTS 2204.21.50 · Wine other than Tokay (not carbonated), of an alcoholic strength by volume not over 14%, in containers not over 2 liters · 50% since Aug 22, 2026

Still bottled wines such as Cureman Chardonnay and Horse & Boat Riesling ("Suggested pairing: Horse & Boat Riesling") are non-carbonated grape wines; the winery site does not print ABVs on the pages we could read, so the 14% line is an assumption for table wine.

Rates are the additional US duty under Section 338. About the tariffs
