A family-run, woman-owned small-batch brewery in the old Casket News building in Antigonish, canning beers such as Party Line Northeast IPA, Cloud Nine and Big League Lite Lager, mostly gluten-reduced, sold in variety packs, a Nova Scotia souvenir 8-pack, and Story Beer custom-printed cans for weddings and events.
Candid's packaged beer (HTS 2203.00.00, "Beer made from malt") can no longer ship to the US: the US import ban on listed Canadian alcohol took effect September 29, 2026, after a 50% Section 338 duty that applied from August 22, 2026. We found no public statement from the brewery about US sales; it ships its cans within Canada.Source: whitehouse.gov, Sep 8, 2026
You must be of legal drinking age in your province to buy alcohol. Rules on shipping alcohol between provinces vary, so buy from the maker directly or through your provincial liquor store. We only link to makers; nothing is sold on this site.
