Cidre Intrus makes natural, low-intervention ciders in 750 ml bottles and changing cuvées, such as À l'ombre avec toi, a Spartan and Empire cider macerated 60 days on its skins, À oublier with wild rose petals, Caché au grand jour co-fermented with organic raspberries from Trois-Pistoles, Les yeux rouges with chokecherries and elderberries, and Qui voit clair à l'aube with wild goldenrod honey.
Cidre Intrus's packaged cider (HTS 2206.00.15, "Cider, fermented, whether still or sparkling") can no longer ship to the US: the US import ban on listed Canadian alcohol took effect September 29, 2026, after a 50% Section 338 duty that applied from August 22, 2026. We found no public statement from the cidery about US sales; its list of points of sale is in Quebec.Source: whitehouse.gov, Sep 8, 2026
You must be of legal drinking age in your province to buy alcohol. Rules on shipping alcohol between provinces vary, so buy from the maker directly or through your provincial liquor store. We only link to makers; nothing is sold on this site.
Made in Canada
The cidery has moved from Quebec City to a two-hundred-year-old barn behind the owners' home at 523 Côte Sainte-Anne, Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré ("Aujourd’hui installée sur la Côte Sainte-Anne, à Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré, la cidrerie prend place dans une grange bicentenaire"), and works with local orchards on the Île d'Orléans; one cuvée is co-fermented from "pommes de l'île d'Orléans".
