Le Somnambule makes artisanal ciders on its orchard south of Quebec City, many of them naturally fermented with wild yeasts: Léger, a sparkling all-apple cider at 7% in 355 mL and 750 mL; the dry Brut; Céleste, flavoured with blueberries from its own fields; Sauvage and other spontaneous ciders; Mémoire, macerated on grape marc; and Givré, an ice cider in 375 mL. It also sells unfiltered apple juice and a sparkling alcohol-free apple must.

Le Somnambule's packaged cider (HTS 2206.00.15, "Cider, fermented, whether still or sparkling") can no longer ship to the US: the US import ban on listed Canadian alcohol took effect September 29, 2026, after a 50% Section 338 duty that applied from August 22, 2026. We found no public statement from the cidery about US sales; Le Soleil reported in May 2026 that its ciders sell through SAQ stores and restaurants in Quebec.Source: whitehouse.gov, Sep 8, 2026

You must be of legal drinking age in your province to buy alcohol. Rules on shipping alcohol between provinces vary, so buy from the maker directly or through your provincial liquor store. We only link to makers; nothing is sold on this site.

The cidery and orchard are at 270 Chemin Jean-Guérin Ouest in Saint-Henri-de-Lévis, Quebec, on land planted with apple trees since the early 1980s; its ice cider is made by cryoconcentration, "les pommes sont pressées à l’automne et les réservoirs de jus sont ensuite laissés dehors tout l’hiver", and Céleste is flavoured "avec les bleuets de nos champs".
