Svetlana Fouks and her partner Raymond run a Gastown gallery in the 1912 Le Magasin building at 332 Water Street, selling Northwest Coast, Inuit and Plains work: hand-signed serigraphs, giclées, intaglios and etchings printed on acid-free and rice paper, like Ben Houstie's Hawk, Hummingbird and Raven in blue and black at CA$300 each, alongside original paintings, argillite carvings, totem poles, masks, bentwood boxes, paddles, talking sticks, drums and gold and silver jewellery, plus a small shelf of Maori jewellery.

Original serigraphs, intaglios and etchings are HTS 9702.90.00, giclée reproductions are HTS 4911.91.40, hand-executed paintings and drawings are HTS 9701.91.00 and carvings, masks and totem poles are HTS 9703.90.00, all four on the CBP Section 338 list at a 50% additional US duty since August 22, 2026. The gallery ships to American buyers by DHL and Canada Post and carries a standing warning on its shipping page: "Tariff – please contact us for current updates on artworks and jewelry delivered to the USA." On a CA$300 Ben Houstie print that is CA$150 in duty before the courier and the merchandise processing fee the same page warns about.

When shipped to the United States, a tariff may be charged on Canadian Indigenous artwork depending upon the latest US and Canada negotiations (specific State taxes may apply although this is not applicable to all states – please consult your local government).
