Coldstream Clear, a family distillery founded in 2015, makes vodkas, gin, white, spiced, dark and single barrel rums, flavoured liqueurs like Apple Pie and Salted Caramel, canned coolers and Nova Scotia Lager at its Stewiacke and Truro sites.
Coldstream Clear's vodka, gin, rum and liqueurs are Canadian spirits under HTS 2208.60.20, 2208.50.00, 2208.40.40 and 2208.70.00, and its Nova Scotia Lager is beer under 2203.00.00; all carried a 50% US duty from August 22, 2026 and, since September 29, 2026, can no longer be imported into the United States at all.Source: whitehouse.gov, Sep 29, 2026
