1769 Distillery makes Madison Park and Royalmount gins, MVodka and 1769 Canadian Whisky from fermented Quebec corn, on its own stills at the former Seagram site in LaSalle.
1769 Distillery's gins, vodka and Canadian whisky are Canadian spirits under HTS 2208.50.00, 2208.60.20 and 2208.30.60, which carried a 50% US duty from August 22, 2026 and, since September 29, 2026, can no longer be imported into the United States at all. Its own site lists the SAQ, Quebec retailers and the LCBO in Ontario as points of sale.Source: whitehouse.gov, Sep 29, 2026
You must be of legal drinking age in your province to buy alcohol. Rules on shipping alcohol between provinces vary, so buy from the maker directly or through your provincial liquor store. We only link to makers; nothing is sold on this site.
Made in Canada
The family says every step happens in its own building: "we ferment Quebec corn, distill it on our own stills, and bottle the finished spirit on-site in LaSalle. Nothing is outsourced, from raw grain to the bottle in your hand."
