Domaine Gélinas, a family vineyard in Mauricie, distils gins (Tournesol, Lavande, Pimbina), a five-year oak-aged brandy, vodka, grappa and a maple brandy liqueur from grape alcohol made from its own vines, alongside its Cavaliers wines.
Domaine Gélinas's gin, brandy, vodka and liqueur (HTS 2208.50.00, 2208.20.40, 2208.60.20, 2208.70.00) and its still wines (HTS 2204.21.50) carried a 50% US duty from August 22, 2026 and, since September 29, 2026, can no longer be imported into the United States at all.Source: whitehouse.gov, Sep 29, 2026
