Domaine Héritage makes dry, low-sugar ciders from a century-old McIntosh, Cortland and Lobo orchard: Terroir (barrel-aged), Abbot's Corner (mostly Cortland, macerated with wild crabapples) and the sparkling Grande Mac, plus Pommados, single-variety apple eaux-de-vie sold only at the farm shop.
Domaine Héritage's packaged ciders (HTS 2206.00.15, "Cider, fermented, whether still or sparkling") and its Pommados apple eau-de-vie (HTS 2208.90.30, brandy other than grape) can no longer ship to the US: the US import ban on listed Canadian alcohol took effect September 29, 2026, after a 50% Section 338 duty that applied from August 22, 2026. The farm sits a few steps from the Vermont border, but we found no public statement from Domaine Héritage about US sales; its ciders are sold at the SAQ and in Montreal and Eastern Townships shops.Source: whitehouse.gov, Sep 8, 2026

Everything comes from the orchard at 150 chemin Richford in Frelighsburg, in the Eastern Townships: "Chaque pomme est cultivée ici, chaque bouteille est remplie ici." The Pommados eau-de-vie is "le résultat d’une seule distillation dans un petit alambic traditionnel de 200 l, fabriqué à la main au Canada."
