Domaine Le Grand Saint-Charles makes naturally fermented canned ciders from its own orchard — Taper la trail (barrel-aged, refermented in 473 mL cans), the hopped Hors terre (6.9%), and the pear-and-McIntosh Alter Ego — alongside low-intervention wines such as the sparkling Farniente and Farniente noir de noir, LaRoche Vidal, PN-PP and the Intuition #2 cuvées.
Domaine Le Grand Saint-Charles's canned cider (HTS 2206.00.15, "Cider, fermented, whether still or sparkling") and its bottled wines (HTS 2204.10.00 for the sparkling Farniente) can no longer ship to the US: the US import ban on listed Canadian alcohol took effect September 29, 2026, after a 50% Section 338 duty that applied from August 22, 2026. We found no public sign that the estate sold in the US; it lists Quebec grocers, bottle shops and restaurants as its stockists.Source: whitehouse.gov, Sep 8, 2026
You must be of legal drinking age in your province to buy alcohol. Rules on shipping alcohol between provinces vary, so buy from the maker directly or through your provincial liquor store. We only link to makers; nothing is sold on this site.
Made in Canada
The estate is at "995 Grand Rang Saint-Charles, Saint-Paul-d'Abbotsford" on the east side of Mont Yamaska, on land the owners bought in 2008 as the Coteau St-Jacques cider house; its ciders are "100% pommes de notre verger" and the wines come from its own parcels planted from 2011.
