Marianne and Matt Gee keep bees on River Road in Ottawa and jar their own wildflower honey there, selling it beside creamed honey, honeycomb and raspberry, blueberry, linden, marsh and buckwheat varieties from a farm shop, a Sussex Drive store and Canada-wide shipping.
Gees Bees sells "Pure Canadian Wildflower Honey", creamed honey and honeycomb, which are natural honey under HTS 0409.00.00 on the CBP Section 338 list and have carried a 50% US duty since August 22, 2026. The shop's own policy page says "We do not currently offer international shipping", so nothing crosses the border through its checkout today and the duty reaches its jars only through buyers who carry them.
