Glenora's Glen Breton single malt is Canadian whisky under HTS 2208.30.60, which carried a 50% US duty from August 22, 2026 and, since September 29, 2026, can no longer be imported into the United States at all. President Lauchie MacLean told CBC that 33 to 40 per cent of the distillery's sales in recent years went to the U.S., and a single-malt order meant for an American buyer is sitting on its dock.

You must be of legal drinking age in your province to buy alcohol. Rules on shipping alcohol between provinces vary, so buy from the maker directly or through your provincial liquor store. We only link to makers; nothing is sold on this site.
