Heeman's, the family greenhouse and strawberry farm just outside London, makes hard ciders and meads under its Heeman's Cellar label in small seasonal batches, from Original and Dry Empire hard ciders to single-varietal ciders like Cellared Dabinett and Wolf River, and meads such as Pollinator Gold.
Heeman's packaged cider (HTS 2206.00.15, "Cider, fermented, whether still or sparkling") and mead (HTS 2206.00.90, fermented beverages other than grape wine, beer or cider) can no longer ship to the US: the US import ban on listed Canadian alcohol took effect September 29, 2026, after a 50% Section 338 duty that applied from August 22, 2026. The ciders and meads are made on the farm at 20422 Nissouri Road, Thorndale, Ontario; Heeman's says its "cider is made with fresh Ontario-grown apples and our Mead is made from honey produced by our 100+ beehives."
