Hounds of Erie is a boutique winery in Clear Creek that makes cold-climate hybrid grape wines such as Boneyard L'Acadie Blanc and the Fox & The Hound Marquette blend, Double Trouble sparkling St. Cliche, a honeyed sparkling apple wine (Bulldog & Bee) and small-batch hard ciders such as Bark & Bite.
Hounds of Erie's still wines, sparkling wines, sparkling apple wine and hard cider (HTS 2204.21.50, 2204.10.00, 2206.00.60 and 2206.00.15) can no longer ship to the US: the US import ban on listed Canadian alcohol took effect September 29, 2026, after a 50% Section 338 duty that applied from August 22 to September 28, 2026.
