L'École du 3e rang is a small vineyard and cider house in the Eastern Townships that makes drinks from five fruits it grows: ciders such as the light sparkling L'Écolier and La Buissonnière ice cider, a sparkling perry from local pears, Petite Perle and other grape wines, Pinicola red and white vermouths, and a pear liqueur whose bottles hold a pear grown inside them.
L'École du 3e rang's packaged cider and perry (HTS 2206.00.15, "Cider, fermented, whether still or sparkling"), grape wine (HTS 2204.21.50), vermouth (HTS 2205.10.30) and pear liqueur (HTS 2208.70.00) can no longer ship to the US: the US import ban on listed Canadian alcohol took effect September 29, 2026, after a 50% Section 338 duty that applied from August 22, 2026.
