L'Esprit de Clocher is a brewpub in Neuville, west of Québec City, brewing a long line-up of house beers, including La Frambourgeoise raspberry witbier, the Mauvais Sort märzen, the Gros Buck juniper amber and seasonal releases such as Le Grand-Duc imperial stout with Portneuf honey, sold in cans at the pub and through grocers and beer shops across Quebec.
L'Esprit de Clocher's packaged beer (HTS 2203.00.00, "Beer made from malt"), the cans it sells at the pub and through its Quebec retailers, can no longer ship to the US: the US import ban on listed Canadian alcohol took effect September 29, 2026, after a 50% Section 338 duty from August 22, 2026.Source: whitehouse.gov, Sep 8, 2026
