La Pomme et la bête, the orchard formerly known as Verger Allen-Demers, presses its own apples into ciders in 375 ml bottles: Vermeil, a fire cider of wood-fire-reduced juice at 14%, Feu de barrique, a fire cider fermented in bourbon barrels at 16.5%, Cidrouille, a pumpkin-spiced cider at 6.5%, and Chouchen, an apple-and-honey cider at 11%, alongside apple juice, pick-your-own apples and baked goods.
La Pomme et la bête's packaged cider (HTS 2206.00.15, "Cider, fermented, whether still or sparkling") can no longer ship to the US: the US import ban on listed Canadian alcohol took effect September 29, 2026, after a 50% Section 338 duty that applied from August 22, 2026. We found no public statement from the orchard about US sales; it sells from its own shop at the orchard.Source: whitehouse.gov, Sep 8, 2026

The orchard and cidery are at 909 chemin Vire-Crêpes in the Saint-Nicolas area of Lévis, "à 7 km du pont Pierre-Laporte", and the owners say "nos pommes nous servent à brasser et embouteiller nos propres cidres" on land farmed for five generations and planted with apple trees since 1985.
