A downtown Dartmouth cidery making canned and bottled ciders from Nova Scotia apples, among them Darkside Dry, Crisp Apple (District 5), Cranberry, Pear, Peach and bottled Mac G and Red Sky. Its sister brewery next door, Darty Brewing, makes Darty Hazy IPA, Bravo Pilsner, Natural Blonde and Lite, sold in the same shop.
Lake City Cider's packaged cider (HTS 2206.00.15, "Cider, fermented, whether still or sparkling") and its sister Darty Brewing's packaged beer (HTS 2203.00.00, "Beer made from malt") can no longer ship to the US: the US import ban on listed Canadian alcohol took effect September 29, 2026, after a 50% Section 338 duty from August 22, 2026. Made on Portland Street in Dartmouth, where the cidery says it is "honoured to make quality cider right here on Portland Street" (35 Portland Street, Dartmouth, NS). Its Crisp Apple is "100% Nova Scotia apples pressed and fermented"; Darty Brewing "opened its doors in June 2025 next to sister location, Lake City Cider", per Tourism Nova Scotia.
