A family brewery on a wooded Gulf Islands lot making over 15 bottle-conditioned ales and lagers in 140-litre batches, among them Froghorn IPA, Mayne-ich Lager, Beet Buck winter lager with local organic beets, J-Pod Kolsch, Jan's Rauchbier smoked on site and a Solera barrel-aged brown, sold in 330 mL and 500 mL bottles and 19 L kegs.
Mayne Island Brewing's packaged beer (HTS 2203.00.00, "Beer made from malt") can no longer ship to the US: the US import ban on listed Canadian alcohol took effect September 29, 2026, after a 50% Section 338 duty that applied from August 22, 2026. Its site says the beer is sold on Mayne Island and at select spots in Vancouver, Victoria and on Saturna Island; we found no US sales.Source: whitehouse.gov, Sep 8, 2026
