La Souche brews a wide, ever-changing range in Quebec City and Stoneham, from classics like Gros Pin Irish red, Franc Bois raspberry wheat and La Canardière West Coast IPA to all-Quebec-ingredient beers such as Acadia forest NEIPA, Stadacona Labrador-tea wit and Limoilou Beach blackcurrant sour, sold in cans at its two pubs and in grocers and beer shops across Quebec.
La Souche's canned beer (HTS 2203.00.00, "Beer made from malt") can no longer ship to the US: the US import ban on listed Canadian alcohol took effect September 29, 2026, after a 50% Section 338 duty from August 22, 2026.Source: whitehouse.gov, Sep 8, 2026
You must be of legal drinking age in your province to buy alcohol. Rules on shipping alcohol between provinces vary, so buy from the maker directly or through your provincial liquor store. We only link to makers; nothing is sold on this site.
Made in Canada
It brews at two sites in the Quebec City area: a 600-litre experimental brewhouse at the original Limoilou pub (801, chemin de la Canardière) and a 2,000-litre production brewery in Stoneham-et-Tewkesbury ("sa bière est désormais brassée en forêt"), where the beer is also canned.
