A Fort St. John brewery and taproom opened in 2018, brewing Peace Gold golden ale, The Mighty IPA, Riddle Red Ale altbier, The Village Idiot session ale and The Dam Pilsner, plus newer beers like Northern Light and Slurry Peaches sour, sold on tap and in cans across the Peace Region and Prince George.
Mighty Peace Brewing's packaged beer (HTS 2203.00.00, "Beer made from malt") can no longer ship to the US: the US import ban on listed Canadian alcohol took effect September 29, 2026, after a 50% Section 338 duty that applied from August 22, 2026.
