Pommies makes cider from 100% Ontario apples: Pommies Original (semi-sweet, 5%) from the fresh-pressed juice of five apple varieties, the dry Pommies Farmhouse (6%), and Pommies Mimosa (5.5%) blended with orange juice, plus a non-alcoholic Pommies Anytime, sold at the LCBO and to bars and restaurants.
Pommies' packaged cider (HTS 2206.00.15, "Cider, fermented, whether still or sparkling") can no longer ship to the US: the US import ban on listed Canadian alcohol took effect September 29, 2026, after a 50% Section 338 duty from August 22, 2026. We have not found a public source on whether Pommies sold in the US; its site points buyers to the LCBO and an Ontario online store.Source: whitehouse.gov, Sep 8, 2026
You must be of legal drinking age in your province to buy alcohol. Rules on shipping alcohol between provinces vary, so buy from the maker directly or through your provincial liquor store. We only link to makers; nothing is sold on this site.
Made in Canada
The LCBO lists Pommies Original, Farmhouse and Mimosa as "Made In Ontario, Canada" by Pommies, and Pommies says its cider "is made from 100% Ontario apples". An earlier Pommies release on Cidercraft says the ciders "are produced in Caledon, Ontario"; online orders now run through Wellington Brewery's Guelph store, and no current source names the facility.
