One of Nova Scotia's oldest craft breweries, founded by John Allen on Gottingen Street in 1997, known for its ESB, its IPA ("a cornerstone of our lineup since 2005") and a Pumpkin Spiced Ale brewed since 2004; the current range also includes Galaxy New England IPA, a Bohemian-style Pilsener, Double IPA, Hyperdrive hazy DIPA, a nitro Black Stout and a Mexican-style Cerveza in cans and bottles, alongside canned craft cocktails.
Propeller's packaged beer (HTS 2203.00.00, "Beer made from malt") can no longer ship to the US: the US import ban on listed Canadian alcohol took effect September 29, 2026, after a 50% Section 338 duty that applied from August 22, 2026. The brewery says its beer is sold "in liquor stores and bars in Nova Scotia and beyond"; we found no public statement from Propeller about US sales.Source: whitehouse.gov, Sep 8, 2026
You must be of legal drinking age in your province to buy alcohol. Rules on shipping alcohol between provinces vary, so buy from the maker directly or through your provincial liquor store. We only link to makers; nothing is sold on this site.
