Roof Hound brews a short list of regulars in Kingston — Big Stink IPA (6.4%, Best IPA at the 2017 Atlantic Brewing Awards), Garage Band Hazy PA, Average Joe American wheat, Big Brown and Rye-it — pouring them in its brewery restaurant and selling bottled beer to go.
Roof Hound's packaged beer (HTS 2203.00.00, "Beer made from malt") can no longer ship to the US: the US import ban on listed Canadian alcohol took effect September 29, 2026, after a 50% Section 338 duty that applied from August 22, 2026. We found no public record of Roof Hound selling its beer in the US; it sells on tap and in bottles at its Kingston brewery.Source: whitehouse.gov, Sep 8, 2026
You must be of legal drinking age in your province to buy alcohol. Rules on shipping alcohol between provinces vary, so buy from the maker directly or through your provincial liquor store. We only link to makers; nothing is sold on this site.
Made in Canada
The brewery, restaurant and bar is at "573 Main Street, Kingston, Nova Scotia B0P 1R0, Canada" in the Annapolis Valley; of its regulars the site says "We run out, we make more", and the name comes from owner Les Barr's grandfather's hound, Lady.
