We create handcrafted wood décor and functional pieces such as boards, trays, risers, wine and beer accessories, lanterns, storage pieces, pet items, planters and seasonal décor. We offer made-to-order, fully custom, ready-to-ship and ready-to-finish options using new and reclaimed wood from our shop in Sarnia, Ontario.

In their words
Written by the owner · Sep 14, 2026.
Rustic & Renewed Decor grew from my love of restoring furniture, refinishing wood and creating pieces for our 125-year-old heritage home. What started as personal projects gradually turned into a business focused on handcrafted, made-to-order and custom wood pieces, using reclaimed and locally sourced Ontario wood whenever possible. This year brought another unexpected chapter. After receiving approval from my insurance company to begin selling into the United States, the new U.S. tariffs arrived and changed the landscape almost immediately. For now, my focus remains on growing the business across Canada while continuing to create pieces one at a time from my workshop in Sarnia, Ontario.

- What changed
- We were approved by our insurance company to sell to the US as of August 1 as they only allowed Canada only last year and expanded coverage and now much of what I sell is now tariffed so will not be expanding the US until 2029 if at all.
What helps most
- We sell on Etsy as well as our website
- All our orders since most is made to order must be ordered by November 20
- All shipping over $120 is free.
