Side Launch, founded in Collingwood in 2014, is named for the town's shipyard tradition of launching ships sideways. The line-up includes its unfiltered Bavarian-style Original Wheat, Northbound Lager, Fifth Coast Hazy IPA, Anyday Light IPA, Shore Krush Tropical IPA and fruited sours such as Margarita and Cranberry Blood Orange, sold in cans at the LCBO and from taprooms in Collingwood and London.
Side Launch's packaged beer (HTS 2203.00.00, "Beer made from malt") can no longer ship to the US: the US import ban on listed Canadian alcohol took effect September 29, 2026, after a 50% Section 338 duty that applied from August 22, 2026. We found no public record of Side Launch selling its beer in the US; its beers are sold at the LCBO, grocery stores and its own taprooms.Source: whitehouse.gov, Sep 8, 2026

The flagship is the "Collingwood BREWERY, Taproom, AND BEER GARDEN" at "200 Mountain Rd. Collingwood, ON L9Y 4V5", with "Towering fermenters" behind a 25-foot bar. Side Launch was acquired by Equals Brewing of London, Ontario, a contract brewer whose line is "Your beer brewed right, in Ontario, Canada."
