Sleeman brews Original Lager, Honey Brown Lager (made with natural honey), Honey Blonde Lager, Cream Ale, Silver Creek Lager and Clear 2.0 in 341 ml bottles and 355 ml and 473 ml cans, from recipes it traces to a family brewery John H. Sleeman opened in 1834; in Guelph it also brews Sapporo beer for its owner, Sapporo Breweries.
Sleeman's packaged beer (HTS 2203.00.00, "Beer made from malt") can no longer ship to the US: the US import ban on listed Canadian alcohol took effect September 29, 2026, after a 50% Section 338 duty that applied from August 22, 2026. Sleeman's brewery is at "551 Clair Road West, Guelph, Ontario, N1L 0H7"; the company says "In 1988, John W. Sleeman reopened the family's brewery in Guelph, Ontario", and a spokesperson told CTV News that the company's beer sold in Canada is all brewed in Canada, apart from 650 mL cans of Sapporo Premium imported from Vietnam.
