An Eastern Shore brewery founded in 2016 and run since 2023 by Steve and Nancy Giles, making Beth's Black oyster stout (with local bay oysters in the boil), Marigold blonde ale, Beach Stone bitter and Wavebreaker West Coast IPA in cans, sold at the taproom, online across Canada and at the NSLC.
Sober Island's packaged beer (HTS 2203.00.00, "Beer made from malt") can no longer ship to the US: the US import ban on listed Canadian alcohol took effect September 29, 2026, after a 50% Section 338 duty that applied from August 22, 2026. We found no public statement from the brewery about US sales.Source: whitehouse.gov, Sep 8, 2026
You must be of legal drinking age in your province to buy alcohol. Rules on shipping alcohol between provinces vary, so buy from the maker directly or through your provincial liquor store. We only link to makers; nothing is sold on this site.
