Sons of Vancouver's whisky and liqueurs are Canadian spirits under HTS 2208.30.60 and 2208.70.00, which carried a 50% US duty from August 22, 2026 and, since September 29, 2026, can no longer be imported into the United States at all. Founder James Lester told CBC the distillery usually ships a few pallets of wheated rye to the US each year, less than 10 per cent of its business, and that he had been working to build relationships there.
You must be of legal drinking age in your province to buy alcohol. Rules on shipping alcohol between provinces vary, so buy from the maker directly or through your provincial liquor store. We only link to makers; nothing is sold on this site.
