Tête d'Allumette brews its beer over a wood fire in an old farmhouse on the St. Lawrence, with a long list that runs from the oatmeal stout Gasket de Tête and the light lager Super Plage to Clapp!, a barley wine fermented with local pears, kveik ales, barrel-aged saisons and wild blends, sold in 500 ml bottles and growlers at its shop and online store.
Tête d'Allumette's packaged beer (HTS 2203.00.00, "Beer made from malt") can no longer ship to the US: the US import ban on listed Canadian alcohol took effect September 29, 2026, after a 50% Section 338 duty from August 22, 2026. We found no sign that the brewery sold in the US; it says it distributes only in a few shops in its region and sells mostly from its own shop and online store.Source: whitehouse.gov, Sep 8, 2026
You must be of legal drinking age in your province to buy alcohol. Rules on shipping alcohol between provinces vary, so buy from the maker directly or through your provincial liquor store. We only link to makers; nothing is sold on this site.

Suite à un voyage en Europe, plus précisément à la brasserie Caracole en Belgique, Martin, le propriétaire et brasseur en chef de la Tête, a eu l’idée folle de brasser sa bière sur feu de bois.
