Their honey is natural honey under HTS 0409.00.00, which the United States has taxed at 50% since August 22, 2026. The shop still offers shipping to American addresses, so US buyers now carry that duty at the border.
In their own words
In August 2026, the U.S. government placed a 50% tariff on pure honey imported from Canada. This directly affects our raw creamed honey.
Three Foragers · threeforagers.ca
Three Foragers tells US shoppers the new 50% duty lands specifically on its raw creamed honey.
The good news: our flavored honey and honey caramels are not subject to this tariff due to different product classifications.
Three Foragers · threeforagers.ca
The shop reassures US customers that its flavored honey and caramel lines are classified differently and are exempt from the duty.
Every price you see on our site is all-in. Duties, tariffs, and any related costs are already built into the price you pay at checkout. No surprise fees, no surcharge at customs, no fine print. What you see is what you pay. Always has been, always will be.
Three Foragers · threeforagers.ca
Three Foragers says it has always folded any duties into its sticker price rather than surprising US buyers with fees at customs.
