A Shawinigan brewery founded in 2005 and known for its barrel-aged beers, with 473 ml cans such as the MacTavish In Memoriam American pale ale and Perroquet session IPA, and 750 ml barrel-aged bottlings like La Buteuse, a Belgian tripel aged eight months in apple-brandy barrels, and Le Coq cherry sour.
Trou du diable's packaged beer (HTS 2203.00.00, "Beer made from malt") can no longer ship to the US: the US import ban on listed Canadian alcohol took effect September 29, 2026, after a 50% Section 338 duty that applied from August 22, 2026. When Molson Coors' Six Pints division bought the brewery in November 2017, the announcement said its beers "are also imported in 20 US states"; we found no newer figure for US sales.Source: newswire.ca, Nov 9, 2017
