Verger Croque-Pomme is an organic pick-your-own orchard in the Outaouais with its own cidery, making seven ciders from apples left to freeze outdoors before pressing: Croqueuse and Croque Démon sparkling ciders, Croque Pétale, Croque Nordique ice cider, Croque Encore sparkling ice cider, the Croque Jasette apple mistelle and Croque-et-Tombe, an ice cider fortified with oaked apple eau-de-vie. It also distils the Croque Alambic apple eau-de-vie and sells sparkling apple juices, cider vinegar and preserves.
Verger Croque-Pomme's packaged ciders and ice ciders (HTS 2206.00.15, "Cider, fermented, whether still or sparkling") can no longer ship to the US: the US import ban on listed Canadian alcohol took effect September 29, 2026, after a 50% Section 338 duty from August 22, 2026. We have not found a public source on whether the orchard sold in the US; its own site lists sales at the orchard, in the Outaouais and at some SAQ stores.Source: whitehouse.gov, Sep 8, 2026
You must be of legal drinking age in your province to buy alcohol. Rules on shipping alcohol between provinces vary, so buy from the maker directly or through your provincial liquor store. We only link to makers; nothing is sold on this site.
Made in Canada
The ciders are pressed from the orchard's own fruit at "20, montée Berndt Lochaber-Partie-Ouest (Qc) J0X 3B0", where the cidery was built in 2007 ("En 2007, un virage important a été amorcé par la construction d’une cidrerie"); the farm grows "environ 4000 pommiers, d’une trentaine de variétés" on 20 hectares and has been "entièrement certifié biologique par Écocert Canada depuis 2024".
