The Philion family orchard makes Friga ice cider from five hand-picked apple varieties, Gaia ice perry, and Octave, a still and a brut sparkling pear wine from Flemish Beauty pears, all fermented from fruit grown on its Hemmingford orchards.
Vergers Philion's packaged ice cider, ice perry and pear wine (HTS 2206.00.15, "Cider, fermented, whether still or sparkling") can no longer ship to the US: the US import ban on listed Canadian alcohol took effect September 29, 2026, after a 50% Section 338 duty that applied from August 22, 2026.
