Prince Edward County's first winery makes estate wines in its Rabbit, Terroir, Appassimento and Reserve series from 20 acres of vineyard, and presses its own orchard apples into Clafeld hard cider, sold at the Clafeld Cider House & Market on the estate.
Waupoos Estates' packaged Clafeld cider (HTS 2206.00.15, "Cider, fermented, whether still or sparkling") and bottled estate wines (HTS 2204.21.50) can no longer ship to the US: the US import ban on listed Canadian alcohol took effect September 29, 2026, after a 50% Section 338 duty that applied from August 22, 2026. We found nothing saying the winery sold in the US; its site offers shipping within Ontario only.Source: whitehouse.gov, Sep 8, 2026
You must be of legal drinking age in your province to buy alcohol. Rules on shipping alcohol between provinces vary, so buy from the maker directly or through your provincial liquor store. We only link to makers; nothing is sold on this site.
Made in Canada
The wine and cider are made on the 100-acre estate at 3016 County Road 8 near Picton, on Prince Edward Bay: "Our apples are crushed on-site to make our award-winning Clafeld Cider", and the Terroir wines reflect "seven different vineyard plots on the Estate".
