PEI Bees sells natural honey, HTS 0409.00.00 on the CBP Section 338 list, which has carried a 50% US duty under HTS 0409.00.00 since August 22, 2026. The farm sells at the gate in Mermaid and through Island retailers, so any jar or pail bound for an American buyer now carries the duty on top of the price. PEI Bees has not said publicly what that has done to its sales. · content.govdelivery.com, Aug 22, 2026
