Cidrerie Michel Jodoin makes a wide range of apple drinks at its Rougemont orchard: sparkling ciders in 355 mL cans and 750 mL bottles (Pétillant Blanc and Rosé at 6.4%), traditional-method Mousseux Blanc and Rosé, still Tranquille Fort ciders, ice ciders from McIntosh and the red-fleshed Geneva apple, and, from its own still, apple eau-de-vie, a three-year apple brandy and apple mistelles; it also sells alcohol-free apple musts.
Cidrerie Michel Jodoin's packaged cider (HTS 2206.00.15, "Cider, fermented, whether still or sparkling") and apple brandy (HTS 2208.90.30) can no longer ship to the US: the US import ban on listed Canadian alcohol took effect September 29, 2026, after a 50% Section 338 duty that applied from August 22, 2026. The cider house's own page on its products abroad lists a US importer and distributor, QCCiders, alongside its partners in France and Germany.Source: whitehouse.gov, Sep 8, 2026
You must be of legal drinking age in your province to buy alcohol. Rules on shipping alcohol between provinces vary, so buy from the maker directly or through your provincial liquor store. We only link to makers; nothing is sold on this site.
Made in Canada
The cider house sits on the family orchard at 1130, La Petite-Caroline in Rougemont, Quebec, where "Un dimanche d’octobre 1901, Jean-Baptiste Jodoin achète un verger d’une centaine de pommiers"; its brandy is "Cidre fermenté distillé dans notre alambic à colonne", and the family calls itself the largest North American grower of the Geneva red-fleshed apple.
