A family-owned Langley brewery, going since the Backwoods Brewing days, with year-round Steel Toe Lager, Hard Hat and Pondside pale ales, Hippity Hop Hazy IPA and The Classic Nut Brown Ale, the Canada Proud lagers and IPA, and its Juice Box mixer of tall-can sours, all unpasteurized and preservative-free. It also brews house brands and private labels.
Dead Frog's packaged beer (HTS 2203.00.00, "Beer made from malt") can no longer ship to the US: the US import ban on listed Canadian alcohol took effect September 29, 2026, after a 50% Section 338 duty that applied from August 22, 2026. Dead Frog has sold south of the border: in the B.C. government's 2022 Export-Ready Catalogue it listed the USA among its current export markets, alongside Brazil and Thailand.Source: www2.gov.bc.ca, Jul 20, 2022
