For Painted Rock, the immediate financial impact of losing the U.S. market is relatively small. The United States represents only a small percentage of our total sales.Source: paintedrock.ca, Sep 10, 2026

Its bottled still BC wines (HTS 2204.21.50) can no longer ship to the US since the import ban of September 29, 2026 (50% duty from August 22 to September 28, 2026). The winery says the immediate financial impact is small because the US is only a small share of its sales, but that it has spent years building US relationships with sommeliers, critics and media.
