On August 26, 2026 the Owen Sound Sun-Times named West Bros among the largest wood furniture manufacturers in Grey-Bruce and reported that the company did not return its calls; the Wood Manufacturing Cluster of Ontario, which counts West Bros a member, told the paper that members exporting exclusively to the U.S. "are down by 40 per cent and restructuring."
